I have always been making therapeutic products for myself. It started with me making my own lotion decades ago after learning how to do so in massage school. I started making candles several years ago, just for personal use because I have always loved having candles lit in my home. My Mother was a lover of candles, particularly for spiritual use, so associating candles with spiritual work started very early for me.

As I deepened in my spiritual practice, making candles became a deeply spiritual process. I realized that there was something special about creating candles, so I started to approach the process with reverence. Whether I was making candles for my ancestral altar or for use in my home, the process became a meditative practice and each candle became infused with spiritual energy. As I started to make candles for friends and friends began requesting candles, the process took on a whole new meaning, as I started to share my spiritual candles with people I loved.
